Crosshatch Lace Socks

I love my lacy, summery socks... a new favorite!

Pattern: Crosshatch Lace, a 6 stitch pattern from More Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch, with a garter edge stockinette heel over 60 stitches.
Yarn: Panda Wool (46% bamboo, 43% wool, 11% nylon) 2 skeins color 2304 - Misty Greens
Needles: 2 socks on 1 circular 2.25 mm (35" Crystal Palace bamboo)

These socks were pure pleasure to knit! The pattern is a 6 stitch, 8 round repeat that is easy and fun and the yarn is soft, strong and has a lovely, gentle sheen. Look at this yarn up close ... and even closer. I've never knit with bamboo before so I don't even know ...is that shiny swirl through the yarn the bamboo??
The book is filled with new stitch patterns and many different options for constructing socks - I'll be trying more of them!
