Bright Bali Stash Quilt

This is probably the brightest quilt I've ever made and on top of that, I waited for sunshine to take pictures - hopefully you're not blinded by the light!

Bali Scrap Quilt

Pattern: "Barbed Wire Fence" from Twosey Foursey Quilts by Catherine Wierzbicki
Size: 60 1/2" X 72 1/2 "
Fabric: 2 1/2" strips from almost every piece of my bali stash
Method: Machine pieced and machine quilted by me

A wonderful way to use up scraps - The entire quilt is made from 2 1/2" X 4 1/2" rectangles. I made my own jelly rolls/noodles by cutting up stash bali fabric into 2 1/2" strips and separating them into lights and darks. I would make some color changes if I were to do it again (which I'm not - I almost never make the same quilt twice - exception being log cabin quilts) which would increase the contrast between the stars and background. But the kids like it just how it is...

journey cable socks

These Journey Cable socks will be a good beginning to socktoberfest

I'll give you all the specifics on this beautiful pattern when they are done - hopefully soon! - There are 3 more pairs of socks in the line up, which I'll tell you more about next time too...
