Clue 1

Mystery quilts provide JUST enough quilting stress to make it fun :-)

In a few frenzied sewing days, I have completed clue 1 of the QM Christmas Lights Mystery Quilt by Bonnie Hunter.

Since I am only using stash fabric (my stash is HUGE, but the pieces are small - I rarely get more than a fat quarter of any fabric), I have opted to use multiple fabrics for the greens/reds/golds - I sure hope this works. At this point I have no idea where this is going - and now I have to wait for the next issue of Quiltmaker...

In the meantime - Dave and I are off to Portland, ME for a weekend BY OURSELVES!! Yes, Kate is watching the boys - one of the many benefits of having an older daughter!
