Pat's Knitting and Quilting
June 1, 2012 A fun weaving project - I used the same warp to make 2 little bags - one from leftover neutral wool and the other from leftover handspun. They are very thick and squooshy due to the tight weft-faced weaving - no need for liner at all. Front and back of the neutral bag (as always, click pic for bigger)
sneaking this in because I love "on the loom" pictures Pattern: Pleasing Proportions Bag from Weaving Made Easy by Liz Gipson Handspun bag happens to fit my Kindle perfectly :) A close up of the straps - I used some suede leather cord (mixed with yarn) in the braid for stability - I LOVE the look of these braided straps! Fun just to do something totally different! If you have comments or questions or want to contact me for any reason, just email or contact me on Ravelry. Thanks :) |
