Last Minute Gift , A Tiny Quilt, and Gingerbread
Now here is some real last minute gift knitting. These mittens took just one day to knit and I really like them. I actually jotted down what I did as I went along, because I knew I was liking them and thought I might make them again for Dulaan. At 3 stitches/inch and only 26 stitches around they sure went FAST! They are soft, warm, thick and pretty too. This is what they looked like an hour or two before.
Pattern: My own (made up as I knit them using a combo of several mitten patterns)
Yarn: Morehouse Merino Bulky - Indian Summer Colorway
Needles: 2 mitts on 2 circular US 10 1/2 (6.5 mm) ...my Mom gave me an extra set of Denise needles which sure come in handy at times like this - THANKS, MOM!

Pattern: by MH designs
Size: 9" X 22"
Fabric: as always -scraps from my HUGE fabric stash.
Lately, I've obviously been obsessed with knitting, letting quilting slip by the wayside, but I found some time to make this little snowman wall quilt just in time for Christmas...the boys like this one!
