Pat's Knitting and Quilting
August 29,2006 It all started with Ene's Scarf which I have been wearing on cool evenings and now I am about 1 week away (we'll soon see if this is true) from completing my Estonian Garden Wrap by Evelyn Clark. I fell in love with this wrap the 1st time I saw the pattern about 2 years ago and I started it on July1, 2006. I am using Knit Picks "Shadow" lace weight merino wool in the Oregon Coast colorway. I am now working on the last trellis lace edging and should be finished and blocking soon. Here it is as of yesterday.....
August 26, 2006 Let's Hope this works.........It is my attempt at making a blog without blogging software. I will try to put out an RSS feed and see if it works. I need to start somewhere so let's start with my socks in progress. I currently have 3 pairs of socks on the needles. I will introduce you to them.
Next my Nancy Bush "Knitting on the Road" KAL sock. The August/Sept. sock is "Unst". Mine are knit with Elann's Essential 4 ply wool. It is a beautiful lace pattern and I have just started the heel. Knit with 2 circulars 1.25 mm Last are another pair of Nancy Bush socks from Knitting on the Road - "Friday Harbor". These are my knitting at the table socks - after dinner/with breakfast. They are knit with some overdyed "Sheeps Gift" from Joslyn's Fiber Farm on 2 circulars 3 mm. I have alot more works in progress that I will introduce to you as I take pictures.......
